 Hi Everyone!

Don't miss all the wonderful inspiration that was shared in Yesterday's hop. You will find all the details for that here; Blog Hop day 1. Also don't miss using the code GREEN when you shop to get $7 off with a purchase of $40 or more. This code will expire 3/24 at 11:59 pm EDT. While supplies last.

For the three cards above I diecut the wonderful Lush Leaves from watercolor paper and then colored them using Daniel Smith Watercolors. I diecut panels from watercolor paper and gold cardstock and assembled them to a cardbase once I had stamped the greetings with SSS Black ink. My sentiments are from Flower Block and Airy Greetings
I then decorated my panels with the diecut leaves and added some lovely

For my thisd, instead fo coloring the leaves I cut a window of leaves and colored the bg instead. Simple yet beautiful. I added gold to my watercolors which shimmer when the light hits.

My last and fourth card was extremely fast and simple using the new layering stamps called Airy Greetings. The color combinations for designs with these stamps are infinite and so fun. I went with a colorcombo that make me think of a tablecloth my grandma had when I was little (70's) (-:

The products I used were all from the new release Be Bold

LawnFawnatics Challenge # 169; Inspired by a Book, Movie, Song or Show

 Hi Everyone!

I'm here to share some inspiration for the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. This time our theme is Inspired by a Book, Movie, Song or Show and here's my take:

I was inspired by the best book I read last year: Charlotte McConaghy's Once There Were Wolves about Inti  who wants to save the wolves and care for her younger sister Aggie. The sisters are both glad they are "in the same pack"(-:
I hope you've read it (and liked it ) - if not - DO!

From the author of the beloved national bestseller Migrations, a pulse-pounding new novel set in the wild Scottish Highlands.

Inti Flynn arrives in Scotland with her twin sister, Aggie, to lead a team of biologists tasked with reintroducing fourteen gray wolves into the remote Highlands. She hopes to heal not only the dying landscape, but Aggie, too, unmade by the terrible secrets that drove the sisters out of Alaska.

Inti is not the woman she once was, either, changed by the harm she’s witnessed—inflicted by humans on both the wild and each other. Yet as the wolves surprise everyone by thriving, Inti begins to let her guard down, even opening herself up to the possibility of love. But when a farmer is found dead, Inti knows where the town will lay blame. Unable to accept her wolves could be responsible, Inti makes a reckless decision to protect them. But if the wolves didn’t make the kill, then who did? And what will Inti do when the man she is falling for seems to be the prime suspect?

Propulsive and spell-binding, Charlotte McConaghy's Once There Were Wolves is the unforgettable story of a woman desperate to save the creatures she loves—if she isn’t consumed by a wild that was once her refuge.

I started by making my cardbase and then cover the front with a panel diecut from  watercolorpaperI inked the panel and spattered it with white ink.  to create some dimension and depth. I added the flap tree bg that I had inked using distress ink. I then stamped, colored and diecut my images and added them to my card using foam adhesive.  I also diecut a banner which I stamped with my sentiment and added to the top center of the card.

Make sure to pop over to the Lawn Fawnatics blog for lots of wonderful inspiration from my talented teamies and for all the info you need to play along!  By entering a card you have the chance of winning a 50 $ gift card to the Lawn Fawn Store ! You also have the chance to have your card featured on the LawnFawn blog,  the Lawn Fawnatics blog and on LawnFawn's instagram with more than 137 thousand followers!
